Barbara has more than 30 years experience in working in partnership with social care, caring for and supporting vulnerable children aged 0-19. Barbara works inclusively with the Local Authority, birth families, adoptive & Special Guardianship families, Guardian Ad Litem's and a number of other professionals to provide the appropriate care plan for the individual child/young person, while allowing the child's voice to be heard. Barbara is passionate about caring for and supporting all children regardless of their age, stage and ability. She believes every child deserves the best start in life and a better future. Barbara is Cache level 3 qualified in Childcare & Education, has a certificate of higher education in Psychology and she enjoys training and have received a number qualifications/certificates to ensure that her professional development is kept up to date and in line with the current legislations.
